I'm drawn to cityscapes that elude capture in the moment, but seem to constantly retreat into the past.

Printmaking

Printmaking figures somewhere between photography and drawing, retaining its aura in the difference between the proof and the impression.

Watercolours

I've cultivated my own peculiar relationship with watercolours. I use them much like a photograph, to try to capture a moment in time. The pleasure is that I never quite succeed.

I also draw watercolours as a means to study the human body.
